SOFLO Swimmers Keeping Busy At Meets Around The World

From the FINA World Championships in Barcelona to the Florida Gold Coast Senior Championships in Coral Springs, South Florida Aquatic Club swimmers are keeping busy by heating up pools around the world.

SOFLO is sending 22 swimmers in 129 individual events and ten relays to Senior Championships that begin Friday at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex Michael Lohberg Pool of Champions.

With the excitement of the FINA World Aquatic Championships in the air, the long course meters three-day meet will have an added kick to it.

The swimming portion of the FINA meet begins on Sunday in Barcelona with a handful of Florida Gold Coast swimmers and coaches including SOFLO’s three-time Olympian Alia Atkinson of Jamaica and her coach Chris Anderson.

The FGC meet is the championship event for age group swimmers, ages 15 and over.
