May 14, 2015—South Florida Aquatic Club will host the Florida Gold Coast May Sizzler on Friday at Academic Village Pool.

A field of 200 swimmers will compete in 34 heats.

SOFLO will host the AquaKids Sharks, Metro Aquatics, Miami-Dade County, and several unattached swimmers.

Among the top-seeds are Jenesys Amores, 6, of AquaKids Sharks; Nicholas Lorenzo, 6, of Metro Aquatics; Erika Pelaez, 8, of SOFLO; Julian Lezcano, 8, of Metro Aquatics; and Oscar Lewerth, 6, of Miami-Dade County.

SOFLO has seventeen swimmers (nine girls, eight boys) competing. They are: Gabriel Campanioni, 8; Celeste Cuevas, 8; Fiorella DiSalvo, 7; Matthew Escudero, 8; Abrielle Kelly, 7; Benjamin Kim, 7; Armando Morillo, 8; Abigail Natino, 8; Joseph Natino, 6; Antonia Ortiz, 7; Erika Pelaez, 8; Alessandro Pereira, 8; Giada Porvemn, 7; Jake Roman, 7; Mary Sawyer, 8; Owen Smith, 8; Sarah Vasquez, 7.

The events are the 6-and-under and 7-8 25-yard butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle races and 8-and-under 100-yard medley relay.
