February 2, 2017—South Florida Aquatic Club swimmers will compete in a unique distance event-only format on Friday and Saturday at Boca Raton Aquatic Center.
SOFLO swimmers will compete in the Mile By Moonlight/Distance Invite that begins Friday at 5 p.m. with the 1,650-yard freestyle.
The format continues on Saturday morning with the 400-yard individual medley, 200-yard butterfly, 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard breaststroke and overflow miles race.
The two-day meet will be hosted by the Boca Raton Swim Team at the Boca Raton High School Aquatic Center. It is SOFLO’s second meet on the road.
SOFLO has entered 12 swimmers. They are: Max Asnis, 17; Juan Diaz, 17; Mia Escudero, 12; Logan Gonzalez, 12; Alejandro Mateus, 11; Leonardo Mateus, 15; Leah Pando, 10; Lucas Porven, 11; Ricardo Roche, 17; Rafael Rodriguez, 15; Christian Tijero, 11; and Christian Vasquez, 13.
