PEMBROKE PINES, August 26, 2022—First it was back to school, and now it’s back to swimming.
After a fun summer and family vacations, South Florida Aquatic Club swimmers will compete in their first fall meet on Saturday in the SOFLO/TYR Back To School Developmental Meet at Academic Village Pool.
SOFLO heads the field in the five-team field with 152 swimmers (83 boys and 69 girls) in 464 individual and two relay events.
In addition to host SOFLO, other Florida Gold Coast teams competing are Cyclones Swim Team, Metro Aquatic Club of Miami, SwimFast and Tsunami Swim Team.
There will be three sessions: 10 a.m. to 10:44 a.m. for 8-and-unders; 11:45 a.m.-1:42 p.m. for 10-and-over swimmers and 3:15 p.m.-5:12 p.m. for the 11-18 1000 freestyle events.
SOFLO swimmers dominate the 8-and-under top seed spots. They are:
