MIAMI, May 12, 2024—South Florida Aquatic Club swimmers were more than ready to race Saturday at the FIU Spring Long Course Meters Invite at FIU Aquatic Center.
SOFLO girls swept the top three places in the 10-and-under and 11-12 200-meter freestyle; 15-16 200-meter butterfly; 11-12 400-meter freestyle; 11-12 100-meter backstroke; and 13-14 and 15-16 400-meter individual medley.
SOFLO boys swept the top three spots in the 11-12 50-meter breaststroke.
Among girls’ winners were:
Sarah Naranjo, 10-and-under 200-meter freestyle 3:08.30.
Christie Ann Lumsden, 11-12 200-meter freestyle 2:27.83; 100-meter backstroke 1:20.47.
